Rob has worked across the Life Sciences industry and as a supplier of equipment and technology to the research, Biotech and Pharma companies in diverse roles, providing an excellent industry insight and broad view over the whole value chain. He has worked with Private Equity groups to turn round, deliver organic growth, and growth via acquisition to life science and Pharma instrument manufacturers.  Rob is active within the voluntary sector and has led a number of charitable Board roles, including a Chair and Vice-Chair.

• Rob has advised on IP sale by an inventor to enhance the bids for the patent, gaining the inventor an upfront payment and ongoing royalties post sale.
• Before starting Barometric Advisors,  Rob was as an executive leader of a business where EBITDA was  tripled in under 4 years and that secured incredible returns for the investors on exit.  After exit, Rob worked with new owners to integrate the acquired business and continued to support acquisitive growth, adding further businesses..
• Rob has led sales and marketing growth globally, redeveloping sales teams, and starting new local business entities.  For one previous employer, he took their flat lined sales growth to double digit over two years by performance managing the sales team, developing the European customer base and opening an office in Asia.
